# Esp8266 performance with WLED and mqtt/usermods

Hello. I would like to ask to add a “clock” as an effect, not as an option for existed effects.  
Reason: WLED could be controlled through home automation systems, like Home Assistant (HA) in my case.  
I can’t manage out the behavior, when the WLED is turned on only as a CLOCK (via web interface I can reach that by “black” color “solid” effet and “clock option” ON).  
Through HA I can’t manage the “clock option”. that is the issue.
