# Is Wled free for commercial use?

im looking to develop some led lights and sell them as a product and was wondering if is ok to use this app and code for it ?

MIT license allows it.  
But please be prudent and advertise your product uses WLED.  
There is no shame in that.

if the project catches on, the wled logo will be big on the box but i just want to know if we can use it without any lawsuits

No-one is going to stop you, but “if the project catches on” is a wrong approach. Instead, use WLED logo to your advantage.

Im sorry for the misunderstanding , what i meant to say is that if the product actually gets into production and reaches the market .
