# LEDS Not responding - VS Code Compile

When I compile WLED 0.10.2 using Visual Studio Code + PlatformIO IDE the code compiles successfully for the ESP8266. When I upload it only a single LED pixel iluminates white. Not Orange as the default and I can’t control the LEDS.

I’ve checked that my hardware is working by flashing the .bin image release which works as intended.

The board I’m running this on is a NodeMCU v3 (ESP8266). Any help to fix this would be appreciated. 😀

Hi!  
Thanks for the log, please try the `d1_mini` environment, the travis env is not meant to be used.
