# Node mcu Esp8266 & wled. Sync lights

Hi.

I currently have three of the above controllers running on wled, and anticipate more to come.

When I use the sync lights option, all three controllers start to react the same as anticipated.

My question is, is it possible to disable one or more of the controllers so that it/they do not sync with the rest of them.

Sure. Change the sync port number on the one to disconnect.

Hi Tony no.

I could not find anything called sync port, however I did find a setting called UDP Port which on all controllers was set at 21234.

I changed the number to 21235 on one of the controllers and it no longer syncs with the others which is what I was looking to do.

Can you confirm if this is the port that you were referring to please.
