# Power supply needed to power 2 to 4 light strips?

I am looking to hook up 2 to 4 light strips from btf lighting like these to one power supply and control them with the wled app.

What would you recommend for a power supply so there is enough power to run lights thru all of those strips? Would this unit below work? Thank you!

use a decent supply, meanwell is a good brand that is still cheap, we do not recommend to go cheaper than that (see quinleds many testing videos on cheapos)

Also note that the strip you linked is 5V, and the power supply you linked is 12V.

Ok. I assume they should match otherwise could be overheating issues? Thanks for pointing that out.

the voltage MUST match, otherwise they do not work, if too high, the LEDs die instantly.
