# Sunset vs sunrise

Hi,

I want to use WLED with the “sunset” effect for my fish tank.  
But if i select the effect it is a sunrise and also a sunset…Is there a way to just show the sunrise only…and a way to select sunset only… then i could use two effects at the beginning and ending of a day…

I also would like to know if there is a way to restart the sunrise effect. If i select it and switch to another and then go back to the first one i selected it continues where i left it. For the most effects this is no problem, but for sunrise it is.

Did you ever get this sorted? I have the same idea and now I’m wondering if wled is not the best controller for a fish tank.

No, not even 1 response…You are the first 😉

But…If you change the duration to a longer period it is only a sunset. The effect is NOT roling back.  
So, i use HomeAssistant and create a autmation. When the sunset complets i will change the lights to daily white. And at night i slowly onvert to blue dimmed light also with an automation. So…almost what i wanted.
