# Sync only selected segments

Hi, one question about sync groups and segments: Is there any way to let segment 1 following sync group 1 only and segment 2 following sync group 2 only ? My intention is: Switching on the master on group 1 should only switch on segment 1 on the listening WLED and switch off segment 2 on that instance.

I would like to implement some scenes and this feature would be really awesome.

Unfortunately no, except if you change the code in `udp.cpp`.
