Ever expanding, nice! This year I only tweaked some hardware and of course wrote some new sequence (Xlights) powered over 4 digquads running WLED.
Hi everyone. This year I’m hoping to do some better holiday display and I wanted to make the PEX wreath from the hook up YouTube channel. The problem is, here in Ireland our PEX is quite thick and doesn’t let any light through. Does anyone have other ideas for an alternative material to use as a diffuser which I can bend? Thanks.
See if you can find some white HDPE tubing.
Thanks. I couldn’t find HPDE tubing but for anyone else I did find white PVC overflow pipe in B&Q. It’s fairly rigid but I tried the hot sand bending method and it actually worked amazingly well. It’s not perfect because it doesn’t project some colours very well, for example white is slightly yellow and purple is redish. I might try find alternative material but otherwise I think I can make this work.
Maybe there’s some specific floorheating tubes that are semi transparant, in The Netherlands I saw some.
