Hi, Is there a way to set only the brightness from a preset?
(Im basically looking for the opposite of using PA with PL in html api)
There might be, but I don’t know how.
However, I do know you can set it via the html api and store it as a preset. Unfortunately, I think it will pick up the current settings for everything else when the preset is stored.
I can definitely see the usage case for establishing a global brightness setting from a preset. I think a global max brightness setting might be what you want, since some effects will set R-G-B values at less than max brightness.
Hopefully someone with a better understanding of WLED will answer.
There are work arounds but unless I use another device to save presets it will wear the memory out in the esp.
PL loads a preset and if combined with PA (ie win&PL=x&PA=0) the preset loads without changing to the preset stored brightness. I want to load only the brightness level stored within a preset but PA=1 doesnt work alone.
