Hello everyone,
I got the problem of a bad dynamic range using Resolume Arena. I just used a white colour in my composition to test this range because gradients don’t look that smooth. When I started decreasing the brightness, starting at 100%, my lights are completly switched off at 15% and below.
Is there any solution to get a better dynamic range?
Also in between 15% and 100% not every value is possible. So for example there is no difference between 15% and 16%.
Few more details:
- I use the free version of the current resolume arena version, but also tested a old version (7.3.1)
- I use Ws2812b LED stripes and WLED for the connection. I think this wont be the problem, because if I use other software than resolume, every value is possible (1%, 2%…)
- artnet connection in wled
Maybe this topic is more related to the resolume forum, but the people there are not that active and maybe this is an general problem or someone also made experince with wled and resolume.
Could also the setting in wled be the problem?
