DC5V WS2812B 144leds flickering

hey, this might be a dumb question, Is there anyway to test/measure a faulty led strip to find what is wrong, cause i have 6 one meter DC5V ws2812b 144 led/m, that i connected one by one to a esp32 development board with wled v0.14.4 just to test them out and one of them is flickering, all have the same wires and length, power supply 5v30a.

Best regards,

See if that strip works connected after one of the working ones. If it does I would add a level shifter.

unfortunately it did not work, it’s still flickering, but it seems like it’s only the last 47 leds that is flickering in the strip, could one bad faulty led cause the rest to act wired?,

Yep, sounds like a bad strip.

You might be able to inject power and data just before the bad section, even without cutting the strip. If the problem persists, you can splice the bad section out.

so i removed the first led out of the last 47 led’s, and soldered the strip together again, and it seems like it works now, it’s been on for a couple of hours and no flickering,
