Первое, данная прошивка позволяет менять количество LEDs вы просто меняете не в том месте. В версии 012 поменялся принцип определения количества LEDs.
Второе, файл постоянно обновляется.
И третье, вы прочитали не внимательно мою просьбу. Я написал, чтобы решить неувязки с тестированием быстрее, пожалуйста перейдите в Discord, а вы мне говорите про Discourse. Похожие названия, но определенно разные платформы. В Дискорде постоянно кто-то есть и вопросы решаются быстрее, почти в режиме реального времени.

@Cino2424 did you compile the usermod? That should already lead to animations. There seem to be some esp compatibility issues, see above. The readme file on the usermod page gives a detailed explanation about changing the distance settings.
Hi all, I made a project on automatic staircase lights with arduino and ws2812b but unfortunately nano cant support more than 600 leds which disappointed me. my stairs runs nearly 11 meters (60 led/meter).
soo i planned to do same with esp32 and found this community here .
i have few doubts.
can i use two ultrasonic sensors. one at top and bottom. and also as i read above it can only trigger lights but cant reset. is it possible to trigger lights at bottom and as the person walks to top the lights should stop.

Can i use this Mod without sensors, or at least test it with the Curl command? At this point when i use the Curl command i says error:9. The mod does show up in settings and info.
