The FAQ says “Use a different LEDPIN, although the default is recommended for stable operation”. I have WeMos R1 D32 board (ESP32), WS2811 and use GPIO 16 for data. Is it equal to different LEDPIN or not? Can I disable that onboard led?
Not per software. You can disable this LED only in hardware(hack) with a soldering iron, side cutter or a drop black paint color
