LED strings operate different than strips for me

I have a successfully flashed and soldered my D1 mini. I originally hooked the D1 mini to LED strings. When the WLED application is set to solid red, green or blue the strings follow the color like they should. I also have a set of LED strings that I purchased at the same time. The strings are not working as the strips behave. When I go solid blue the lights properly go blue. The issue is that when I select the color red in the WLED app the led bulbs in the string light glow green, If I make WLED turn the lights green the lights glow red. The color red and green are inverted on the strings only. I have gone back to strips and the strips behave properly.

I re-flashed my D1 mini which fixed another issue I was having but the strings do not following WLED colors selection for red and green. This is most likely not a WLED issue but I hoped someone may have experience with this issue and can shed some light on it for me. Does anyone know what this issue could be?

The strips have a different channel sequence than the strings. You will need to find the right colour order in the LED preferences section of the wLED config. Use the drop down box and try each option until they operate properly.
