For those of you who buy parts from Mouser.com, have they ever asked you to fill out an export form, sign it and send it back to them to order parts?
Not for me.
What part of the world are your delivering to?
My house in Austin, Texas. I replied back to them saying I could drive 3.5 hours from my house to their headquarters that’s also in Texas. I also just received an order from them last month without any issues. So I was just wondering if this was happening to just me or if this is now standard practice. Sounds like someone at Mouser needs to put the crack pipe down.
There are lots of sanctions on Tech from the U.S. Gov. Especially exporting tech. That’s why.
