I recently purchased a set of Govee h7037 Outdoor String Lights 2.
The Integrated Chip has two WS2811 chips on the each light. One to control RGB and one to control White LEDs. Integrated chip also has 9 RGB LEDs and 10 White. The number of bulbs on the string is 15. I have set WLED to WS281x and Color Order is RGB. The length that works is 60. I am assuming that is 15 Red, 15 Blue, 15 Green, and 15 White?
I can disable the white channel and the string works great. Would just like to be able to control white balance with slider if possible?
I have attempted all other LED settings in WLED, this one works best and that is the chipset in the IC so thought there would be something I might be missing here?
I am using this same controller as the TM1815 testing BTW, so I will do the request as per the other instructions. On this one, should I repost this somewhere to ask for a feature request?
Im just starting to play around with these. How are you getting on with them? I tried playinng around with using a quinled i had laying around, since its 36v I ran power direct to the lights and then took a splice of the power to a bucck convertor to power the quinnled.
Ive tried to follow above but im really struggling to get anything bar blinding white light.
How have you got this wired up? and would it be possible to get some information on the config?
Im looking to run a string of 3 sets, then put a data-booster in the middle for another set. Realised quickly that the govee app only allows you to pair devices not have them running sequential from each other.
I sent the spec sheets over to the team at WLED and they were able to translate the information and come up with a setting that worked. The white LEDs are not working, but the colors are. If you are having problems with wiring, look at the series of will it WLED or not on youtube. He explains how to splice the wiring from any controller over to Govee lights. See link below:
So I have it wired correctly now.
With the config of the lights as soon as I set to the TM1815 profile all i get is an incredibly bright white output, I am unable to control anything at that stage. If i set to WS281x I am able to control RGB and White, by segmenting the bulbs like what you have done. However they are pastel colours.
