I have a 24V Pautix COB RGBIC strip with 5m. I’ve installed the WLED on an ESP32 -WROOM-32. I’ve configured using WS281X GPIO-16. I reckon the strip has 10cm segments with one IC. so I suppose the number of LEDs for the configuration in a 5m strip is 50.
If I use a logic level shifter, will it work with this configuration?
As long as that strip responds to the WS281x protocol and your wiring is correct, it should be fine.
Once you get it to light up via WLED, you should able to find the correct length for your strip pretty quickly.
24 v strip like that has pixel count of 100
20 led per meter
Logic Level Shifter worked perfectly. I tried with a MOSFET first but it probably the specs weren’t the correct ones. It does have 50 segments.
