Is there a way to use this mod as basic wipe up and down without strip under each step?
There is a basic stairway wipe mod but I could not compile successfully and also doesn’t support ultrasonic sensors.
Any help would be much appreciated

For basic wipe you can use Wipe effect (within a playlist) and two PIR sensors configured as buttons.
