I am trying to find the user mod for stair case animation in the latest release and its not there. Was it removed? Do I have to add it separately ? ( if so how?/ where?)
Secondly if i can get it to work I am trying to create the following ‘effect’ - for each segment or each step I want the lights to come in from teh edges to the centre then from the centre outwards to go off.

I see 2 entries in the current Usermod source: Animated_Staircase and Stairway_wipe_basic.
I’m guessing the 2nd one may be closer to what you’re trying to accomplish.
Thanks I was able to get the use rmod installed "Animated _staircase’ however that was back in march and I have completely forgotten how to do it …
I am having some troubles with it ( it works one direction but not the other no idea how to trouble shoot it)
the stairway wipe basic sounds good but I would have no idea how to modify code to trigger from PIR sensors…
Haven’t used that one myself, but from what I read you should be able to embed the API triggers into presets and have the PIRs trip those presets.
How do I get the pre compiled Binary - can any one help me? I am sure I got one 8-10 months ago when I started the project - I have reason to believe it may be glitchie or was not the latest- as my stair do not shut off and cat be triggered properly from both ends… so I am looking to reinstall and start fresh and try again … I am not a coder/ developer / engineer and have been muddling through and tried to follow the step by step guide to compile wled source and add in the stair case mod but was unsuccessful - I’m happy to send a few bucks some ones way if they can help me getting this going @blazoncek??? @SRG74???
