Cannot control fcob rgb LED

I have recently tried some project with WLED.
Unfortunately I am not abel to get my fcob rgb LED working.

I am using a 1m LED (576 LEDs/m) and should have 16 addressable elements.

A 12V 850mA should yield 10W, which is needed for the 1m of LED

As controller I am using a NodeMcu v3 CP2102. GPIO4 is on pin D2 (this seems to work for non-cod leds).

This is how the setup looks like when I have chosen 1 addressable element and turned POWER OFF.
The second element on the strip is still active.

Any suggestions?

Edit:
I have played around a little bit.
For the controller I have choosen a different power supply (2.2 Amps) .
I was able to control everything but the first LED-section, which was always turned off and showing a green color despite the controller having turned the led-stip off.

I then switched to GPI03, which is the RX pin on my board (read it online somewhere).
Now I am able to turn the first led off, however it is still a different color and does not seem to react otherwise.

Edit2: Repowered the board by removing the USB power supply from the outlet.
The first LED stays on now no matter what (green).

Sounds like your first set of LEDs may be bad. Also as has been said many times recently regarding the cob strips. Add a level shifter to bring the gpio output up to the required 5v.
