I have a winery called Silver Bell Winery. Our logo is, obviously, a silver bell. (You can google us to see it on our web site - not trying to sell you wine, lol). We would like to build a very large lit sign to put on the lake side of our building so people can see it from a long way off. My idea is to build the physical sign out of aluminum sheeting which look like silver and is easy to cut, drill, and weld. We would then drill holes in the aluminum and insert the pixels from the rear to light the sign.
Questions:
- How thick would the aluminum sheeting need to be?
- What pattern and density would work best so that it looked like a solid lit bell at night from a distance?
