Hi, i tried WLED15 on a WT32-ETH01 - and wired my DS18B20 to GPIO39 on my PCB. The pin is selectable as R/O in the usermod settings, but after reboot it is set to “unused” again. The sensor is therefor not working. I expected this pin as R/O should be useable, but is there any reason for this behavior? And any problem to fix except of using another GPIO?

39 is RO pin, you need RW pin
As @blazoncek said, RO pins won’t work.
The DS18B20 communication protocol is 2-way (over a single wire) so you need a RW pin.
Sad to hear that, thanks. Can i use Pins 32 and 33 for i2c instead? They are marked AS cfg and 485_en, but that would be a workaround to get the temp by i2c.

The table(s) in there will give you the basic info on ESP32 pins and their usage.
Your specific board may or may not have stuff attached that make things “interesting”.
