Easy way to copy an effect?

HI, How do I change the API in a preset for Candy Cane to change the colors.
Or copy effect “Candy Cane” and chg the colors there.

Try this:
Setup a preset with the effect/colours you like, save it, uncheck the “Overwrite with state” box and then refresh your browser. The API commands for that preset will be displayed.

You can save that to a different preset and make the colour changes you want.
Turn the API back on and you’ll see the differences in the API command you need to make.

Thanks, I did this but all the API is doing is call fx:114 the “Candy Cane” effect. And obviously this effect has predefined colors.

I found the solution.
Use “Candy Cane” and change the API fx: from 114 to 37 which uses the primary and secondary color.
