Esp 32 controller offline problem

My ESP32 sound reactive controller is not working how it should with the wled app. The led strip I’m using it with is WS2815 and the lights work, the animition works and the colour palets work. When i unplug and plug the controller back in it responts in a short amount of time and then goes offline, the last

command is what the led strip runs on until i unplug and plug it in again only for it to respond for a short amound of time and then going offline again. Any tips?

Any help would be greatly appriciated since I’m ecoming irritated of this problem.

Disable wifi sleep mode in settings? Make sure your connections and permissions are all good. I had issues that looked similarly and turned out to be external antenna and a different time a lose wire for power. Simple but easy to miss if you focus on just the wifi . Troubleshoot it all as best you can.

I bought a controller that I didn’t really need arduion for, the controller is from athom and worked pretty well until i made some renovatition to the strip, cut it in half, and solded it, I didn’t have the equipmemts at home since I’m 17 and learning on my own, so I took the wire and controller with me to school and that’s where it all became a little inefficient but the solding is good otherwise should that interfere with the controller-to phone signal. And I can’t access the settings through my phone since the controller is mostly offline.
Thanks in advance

Be sure its getting power to the controller. If your certain it has power then its probly somthing on the board antenna maybe. Hard to say. Im no expert .

Downgrade (reflash) to 0.14.0 I have the same issue with 0.14.1.

I can second this suggestion. I was about to create a separate thread about this when I saw this one.

I have four instances of WLED running 0.14.1 on ESP32 WROOM controllers. For the last week or so, I’ve experienced significant issues with them going offline for extended periods of time and the automations not functioning. I did an extensive array of troubleshooting, from the power supply to the wiring to the antenna to the router. When I tried using the WLED AP and couldn’t maintain a connection, that’s what made me think it was a software issue. I returned to 0.14.0 and everything is working as normal.

In retrospect, my problems started after I did the OTA upgrade to 0.14.1. I did this upgrade using the Home Assistant integration.

Lesson learned. Don’t push the next software version unless there is a new feature you really need.

Thanks so much🙏🏽 Will try later at home

I also had troubles with 3 esp32 wled 0.14.1 (one sound reaktive) all suddenly all went offline. Been stable for months. Had to unplug power to Get them online. Tried many different Things, but Nothing seemed to help. They were connected with DDP RGB network. I downgraded to 0.14.0 and linked them Sync option in audio reactive and now it seems to be all good and working perfect again.

I also did upgrade Through Home Assistant

HA seems to be causing issues when upgrading via it. Just do it directly.
