Intermittent flash with 0.15.2 and 5V SK6812 on C3

Just upgraded 2 custom floor lamps from 0.15.1 to 0.15.2 when it came up in Home Assistant. They were working fine with 0.15.1 now they have a random flash no more than once per minute, sometimes several minutes apart just caught out the corner of my eye. Bright white flash a bit like the strobe effect although doesn’t seem quite the same. Magwled (C3) controllers running 80 SK6812 at 5V. Looks like the dedicated white is flashing. Observed with several effects including default white and a rainbow setting. Planning to downgrade, as I said 0.15.1 did not do this, don’t see any other reports here so it could be quite setup specific.

accidentally changed my comment. it was something like: known bug and unpredictable, related to wifi core clashing with neo pixel bus driver. Does not happen in AP mode and less often when disabling wifi sleep.

Thanks for the tip although I’m still a little mystified why I am only seeing this after the 0.15.2 update. The lamps have been running for months with 0.15.0 and 0.15.1 without anyone at home ever observing this flashing. I’ll try to experiment tonight.

the bug comes and goes with each version, it has re-appeared several times in 0.16 over time, that is what I mean by very unpredictable.
