Issue with animated staircase?

hi i’ve got a bit of an issue, after 3 days of mucking around i finally got wled installed with the animated staircase user mod.

mucking around with settings i got mqtt to work to be able to send up and down via /swipe topic.

however this issue seems to be that it seems to be resetting or restarting randomly every 2-5 mins the entire strip will turn on and then off.
if i go into the config page and load a preset and use the commands it will work but if i then leave it for the said 3-5 minutes it will do a flash on (the colour of the bootable preset warm white) and be reset back to that. does anyone have any idea what it could be or is there a way to check wled logs?

the usermod staicase is suposed to check the SWIPE every 200sec if there is somthing active
so this may cause this behavier
also it seams that the Amp controll turns in did you set this to a VALUE you are safe with

There are no long term logs you can check - WLED/ESP32 doesn’t have the storage to support that.

The first possibility to eliminate would be power, you can try and decrease the total brightness used to ~20%. That should reduce your max power consumption enough to see if it reduces or eliminates the problem.

You could also try a separate dedicated 5V 2A supply for the ESP to see if that helps.
