Issue with Dimmer Sensor penetrating wood

Hi,
I’m trying to get working with the following dimmer sensor that in theory can be installed behind a wood up to 30 mm

The output is 0 v to 3.3 v (is working also with 3.3 V even it is declared min 3.7V).

I tried as analog but it is not working, the WLED freeze and I need to reboot.

Any suggestion?
