LED control fades out after about 30 pixels

For some reason I can control the first 30 pixels ish, and then the control flickers out. After that point the leds are just a static random colour.

Setup:

  • Dig-Uno Controller (right near beginning of string)
  • 30A 5v power supply
  • Power injection at beginning and 3 other points.
  • 3 spools of WS2812B (RGBW) Leds

Not sure if a video link works or not, but see here!

Any ideas?

that’s the default number of leds, you need to configure your number leds in "config - led preference in WLED app or wled web browser

I’ve upped it to 100 in the WLED settings. It’s strange because control doesn’t stop at a single pixel - but flickers/partial control happens instead…

Do you have a different strip to try? Or can you skip the first of your strips, and just drive the next 2? Repeating the problem on a different strip will eliminate the possibility of bad pixels being the cause.
