Does anyone know when the next major release will be? I ask because I read that support for fw1906 led strip will be in .15
Only God knows. 
Have you tried any of the latest nightly builds?
I would guess that kind of support will come from the underlying Neopixelbus library, which probably already has those protocols in place.
I’ve just started on 0.15 and there is no support for FW1906 built into WLED as of now.
NeoPixelBus does support it though but the changes required are more fundamental than it is feasible to implement in WLED ATM.

Did a quick look over on the Neopixelbus discord and it looks like Makuna doesn’t have a good spec for that series of LED (or I’m sure it would be already available). Neither the mfg. or the “reverse engineers” have locked that one down into a formal specification of timings, capabilities, etc. (at least as of March…)
Hopefully in the future. I like this led strip because it’s 24v, I have it running under my kitchen cabinets and it lights up my whole kitchen!
BTW - I’m currently running this with wled as ws2812b. It does work but the color is off, not nearly as vivid as should be.
