One Green LED is on after 30 minutes power off

Hi,
first I apologize for my not so perfect English since English is not my native language.
I googled my “issue” but I couldn’t find any solution so I hope someone can help me out.
If there is already a threat like mine or I used the wrong category, please let me know.

I use an " AZDelivery NodeMCU Amica Modul V2 ESP8266 ESP-12F WiFi WiFi Development Board mit CP2102". I soldered a separate micro usb port to grnd/vin on the node mcu and to my WS2812 rgb stripe and a cable from the mcu D4 to the Din connection on my stripe. Everything is working fine. But after I powered down the light via the webinterface of my nodemcu after some time one led (always the same) is glowing (always green). I down’t know how long it takes when the power is down but it takes definitive longer than 10 minutes. When I turn on and off the lights again it is completely off until it starts glowing after some time.

Does anyone know why this happens?

Thanks in advance

Cheers
PaWäl

I don’t know why this is happening, but I had the same issue. My sloppy solution was to create a preset with 0 brightness and switch to that preset instead of turning it off.

Have you tried using the “Refresh Off” option under Config->LED Preferences->LED Output?
If the strip functions normally otherwise, it might be a particular led that’s sensitive to power line noise.

Thank you for your answers
@wessi86 I’m happy that I’m not alone with this “issue”. Your solution is a good alternative
@divsys No, I didn’t try it yet but I will give it a shot. Thanks

@divsys I tested your solution for a while and it worked. Thank you for your help!!
