Hello everyone, I have a question that may seem silly but I have a project that consists of placing a led strip of 30 w2812b leds with an esp 8266 d1 mini microcontroller in a surdo (batucada drum) to make pretty effects. I’m thinking of using a powerbank with two 18650 batteries and the powerbank can generate 1.5A. Can I use the micro usb port of the esp or do I have to solder to the 5V pin?

Yes, you can use the port to power it.
