Remove blue tape from LED-Strip?

I searched for this, but maybe used wrong keywords or it is too trivial.
Should I remove the blue tape from the back of my LED-strip before attaching it to the aluminum profile? Or would that short 5V and GND?

It will depend on your strip.
If the blue tape is covering double sided tape then you’ll have to remove it to make the strip stick.
Try removing a small section and see what the back side looks like.

It is blue, very thin but I can not peel some plastic cover away. It is not leaving some sticky double sided tape on the strip. I leave it there for now.
