RGBW Use Effect and have White Background without it

Hey,
i have a RGBW Strip and would like to have an Effect active and at the same time the white channel active, but without an effect.
So having Background white light active and RGB Effect in the meantime.

I thought the “BG” button would do this, but then the White-Channel also has the effect active ( blinking flashing ). On some effect it works ( Bouncing Balls ) but at most it doesn’t

Is threre any way to accomplish this for all effects?

You should be able to do that using overlapping segments. However, not all effects do support that unless you use nightly build 0.16 which even lets you choose how the overlapping segments are mixed/added.

Just use Dual in White management.
