Some UI/Functionality suggestions

  1. In the Segments portion, It would be useful if segments could be grouped or selected as a designated group.
    For my uses, I designate up to 36 segments, half of which are used as a group. Having to uncheck 16 segments and then select 16 others, takes more time than animating the segments themselves. Currently the UI takes a long time to check each segment, up to 10 seconds a pop. + Group Select or Switch Selections (Auto unchecking/checking) features would solve the issue of creating a preset taking 3/4 of the time switching selections.

  2. Time & Macros - Would be great to be able to designate more options of time/presets, the limitation to 8 limits it’s overall functionality throughout the day for setting states/timers.

  3. Time & Macros - Event Layering or Override Time/macros, event lists.
    Currently I have a time based animation for lighting, if there is a Calendar Event, like Christmas; I have to remove all timers and replace them with Holiday themed ones. Would be easier to have the option of Default timers click down list. Or even to be able to automatically change the time/macro list my calendar date to calendar date. This would allow for lighting conditions to be set throughout the day and automatically change to a separate day macro for certain days or periods of events/holidays.

  4. Effects - for the sunrise animation, it would be nice to turn it on, do its animation and pause once fully up or down, a reverse feature.
    I want this animation to wake me up in the morning with a sunrise animation that slowly rises over a long period then pauses once risen. I also would be cool if it reversed for sunset and paused.

  5. Sync feature- Send Preset- being able to call an animation from another synced WLED controller would be incredibly useful.
    Example: every WLED i have has a Halloween 1 animation, which has it’s own segments and settings dependent on the length of segment. If the Sync Feature could send “Present 9” for example to all synced WLED in that group. For now, i have to go to each WLED and change it’s preset.
