Hi,
I just tested the new WELD 16.0 release and it’s great!
But I’m seeing some strange behaviour with some effects in regard to the parameters.
This is most notable for me with the Grav* effects. The “Rate of fall” slider doesn’t seem to affect the rate of fall on Gravcenter, Gravcentric and Garvfreq but works on Gravimeter. What does seem to influence the rate of fall on the first three is the “Sensivity” slider which also affects sensivity of course.
I had a short glance at the code and all four effects share the same base function and I cant’ spot anything indicating the observed behavior.
I have tested this with different devices and differend builds, release versions as well as self compiled based on the 16.0 release. I’m using PIO to compile the code.
Can anybody confirm this behavior or is this a “me” problem?

I don’t think there was any change. Is this different to 15.4?
Hey @dedehai
thanks for the quick reply.
You are right, I just did some tests with different versions and it’s the same behaviour since 14.4…
I was using WLEDMM before I changed back to WLED since it included audioreactive recently.
It seems the same effect behaves different (corrrect?) in WLEDMM, because the “Rate of fall” setting only applies to Gravimeter effect in WLED, I’m quite sure it had an impact on the other Grav* effects in WLEDMM…
Anyways it’s not a big deal for me, it just seemed odd that the setting has no effect (at least for me).
MM is the reference and the “upstream” for AR and probably also AR effects. You can open a github issue about this and it will get looked at.
Ok,
I will verify my statement on a recent MM build and open an issue if I confirmed it.
I just verified the correct behaviour on WLED-MM 14.7.1 and opened an issue (#5600)
