I am currently running an “unsupported” board with WLED - ESP8266 (ESP01M board, something like the image below). I managed to flash WLED on it by using the WLED install web page. I use home assistant to control it.
So far everything has been working great for the past few months. But I want to do a firmware update - Home assistant was reporting there’s an update out. It currently reports
Installed version: WLED 0.14.0
(esp8266 build 2310130)
So I downloaded WLED_0.14.1_ESP8266 from gitbub and tried to update it, however I’m getting
Update failed!
Please check your file and retry!
Any ideas what could be causing this, and how I can get it updated?
