So im trying to make some custom lights some for behind my grill and some for my headlights. But i wanted to use wled for some of it. Possible. If so i can show my sketches and tell u guys what i was thinking. Would i have to use AP mode to do it in my car. Either way ill be making custom headlights only thing is i wanted to use wled as it has the most options otherwise ill just use like some govee strips or something id like an app on my phone for customization. But i would not like to have to connect it to the internet everytime i want to use it
wled doesn’t need an Internet connection. 
You connect a phone/tablet to its AP for control, or you can use buttons/switches.
I sell complete systems if you are less interested in the DIY approach.
Thanks but i am very intrested in learning the DIY approach. Whay is the most effiecent way to power a esp32. 3.3v 5v 7v or 12v or should i just use a charger cord
Most dev boards need 5v.
You could use the usb, or you could use a 12v to 5v buck convertor from your car’s 12v system.
