So there are two options for bright controllable LEDs. The COM and 96LED’s meter bright PCB on aliexpress. Anyone tried both? Which one is better?
Depends what you value most, let me try and dumb it down:
- If you want the absolute highest brightest and most vibrant LED strip, the 24v 720LEDs/m “addressable neon” is the best out there. The integrated diffusing because being COB also makes it look extra great!
- If you want great bright brightness and good vibrant colors (better then generic ws2812b for instance) and a bit more zones then the above option the 96LEDs/m “bright” version from BTF is a good second.
I have the strips and cannot figure out how to get them to work, they light up but I get constant flashing, cannot select solid colour etc …

Any thoughts on the correct WLED settings ?
Should be WS281x protocol.
Start with proper power and a proper levelshifter (not I2C).
Make sure there’s a common ground between the MCU PS and the strip PS
