Hi. I just updated my ESP32, but the digital mic settings are missing disciptors.

I neglected to mention that it disappeared after the OTA update that wled offered up by showing a notification in the Web UI. It was installed and working fine before the update.
You have to download a version with audio reactive user mod.
Yes. I originally installed it from the website. It gives the option to add (or just install?) Audio Reactive, so it should choose the equivalent update, or not offer an update, in my humble opinion…
IMO never use a phone to update WLED. At least, not yet.
I assumed it was only triggered by the web UI, but executed by the ESP32.
Anyway… I reflashed from the web page.
You can always update (upgrade or downgrade) using OTA.
Just get appropriate firmware binary.
Will that preserve the settings? Where do I find the correct firmware version?
Nevertheless, If I click on update, because the app suggests it, it should be the same type as what is installed.
Use Github and yes, all settings are retained when updating OTA.
You know if we shouldn’t be updating our controllers through our phone or tablet then maybe it shouldn’t be offered. I don’t have a PC right now All I have is my tablets and my phone and since I’m new it all this in WLED native they have an edit but you can only get the regular one I did not know that and now I have to figure out how to try and install the sound activated one back onto my controller because I thought I was updating it on my Android. It didn’t say it was the controller I thought I was updating the Android app which it sorely needs.
All binaries are available on Github (see Releases) and can be uploaded to the device using phone or tablet.

As @blazoncek wrote, they are on the Releases page. Find the version you want and expand “Assets”. Find the binary you want and download it to your phone. Then go to your WLED “Config” page and select “Security & Update setup”. From there go to the “Software Update” section and hit “Manual OTA Update”. Select the file you just downloaded with “Choose file” button and hit “Update!”
Actually you know what I did I downloaded The version 14 sound reactive version off of the message board and plugged it into the app manually and once I did that and then I just had to change the PIN numbers to the right location which I found to be part of the very limited information that came in the instructions for the controller. I even managed to set up a line of new cob lights but to be honest and probably going to bring them out inside and I don’t know why I’m so hot but I am You have a good day

Уж они-то знают с чем свой товар поставлять (микрофон-то встроенный).
Как известно - официальный WLED не торопится добавлять столь громоздкий кусок как АудтоРеоктив. Если вы используете микрофон - лучше заливайте прошивки от Aircoookie сообщества. Пусть они немного отстают от официальных, и в них убраны многие функции тормозящие, но заточены под использование именно микрофона.
Текущая их версия - v0.14.3 “Хоши” АудтоРеоктив, например, плохо дружит с “Предустановками”, а “ПлейЛисты” - в упор не замечает (надеюсь поправят). Но микрофонных пресетов в ней больше.
Новые АудтоРеоктив прошивки - советую брать тут:

Yesterday I received a new ready-made unit - “LED controller GLEDOPTO ESP32 WLED, microphone, UART” (GL-C-015WL-D).
Comes with the latest firmware - v0.14.3 “Hoshi” AudioReactive, and not with v0.15+.
And the signature/link - “Made with Aircoookie and the WLED community”.

They know what to supply their product with (the microphone is built-in).
As you know, the official WLED is in no hurry to add such a bulky piece as AuditoReactive. If you use a microphone, it is better to upload firmware from the Aircoookie community. Let them lag a little behind the official ones, and they have removed many slowing functions, but they are sharpened for using a microphone.
Their current version is v0.14.3 “Hoshi” AudioReactive, for example, does not work well with “Presets”, and “Playlists” - it does not notice at all (I hope they have already fixed it). But it has more microphone presets.
New AuditoReactive firmware - I recommend taking it from here:
