I got one of those AliExpress RGBIC curtains for pretty cheap recently. I have bought two, my first one had the strange issue of only detecting every second led curtain string, meaning I had to double my LED count and have WLED’s matrix ignore every second run.
However, this second one is strange. Rather than sending the data down the line, it uses this chip to send the next run of data to the next 20 LEDs. With the integrated controller, it works fine. With WLED, it doesn’t send any data through it whatsoever. Only the first few lights of the next run light up, and they don’t do anything other than periodically flash and change colours at whim. What do I do here? Can anyone recognise this chip or have any solutions?
