I’m looking to use a macro to play a animation “Effect with a color” everytime the clock strikes a hour. i currently use Wled on a dig uno installed in a clock face with 60 WS2815 led’s . if any one can help me that would be awsome.

Are you looking for help scheduling a macro / preset to run, or help creating a usermod, or help creating a CRON / CURL job to perform the hourly update?
I’m look for the clock to play a animation or “effect” once a hour on the hour. I need it to do this without any external commands. Solely on the d1mini it’s going to be a Christmas gift. So I can’t send any command to accomplish this. I have played with the macros but it won’t let me play a macro every hour?? Any guess how to accomplish this.
A usermod is probably required as I do not see anything built into the current version of WLED that does any type of timed animations at the hour level.
Maybe you can schedule 24 presets with duration of 60 minutes that starts at a specific time, like midnight.
