As per title, I wish there is an option in near future version that we can name each connection to the props we connected to in the Hardware setting, and also automatic used that same custom name for the segments. Thank you for the all amazing works.
check “Make a segment for each output:” then name the segments and you have your reference.

I have been using your suggestion for years but it would be nice and permanent way to name each output instead of segments, it’s getting complicated if there is a lots of segments involved. I used segments extensively for most of my props and many time I maxed out all the segments allowance. it is more convenience and easy way to maintain as sometime the segments got reset by accident and it’s pain to redo them. naming outputs would really only make sense if there is one segment per output and in that case it’s already possible to name the segments so I don’t see the point in naming one to name the other. you should create backups of your presets and config so you can just reload it if it’s lost due to flash writing errors.
also number of segments is a virtual limit, you can increase it with a custom compile.

I don’t see this as feasible: it would require a lot of additional code and waste precious ram on something that has very limited use - no real added value but convenience.
Save you settings/config and put it in a folder and name the folder a name that describes the configuration incase of loss. Backup.
