Device wouldn’t update to newer versions (audio)

I recently set up my ESP-wroom-32 to a 32X24 matrix and wanted to make it sound reactive. I tried to update it from v14.3 to v14.4 Audio, but it just would not! the WLED installer says the installation was successful but when I check the version it’s still stuck on the older one.

specs:

  1. ESP-WROOM-32
  2. MAX9814 (mic)
  3. running v.14.3 (plain)
  4. 32X24 flexible matrix
  5. MacOS (just in case if needed)

you may neet to install the 14.4 audio via ESP Flash tool
and dont forget to press RESET 2times bevor install so the ESP tool gets the signal to proper clear and install

Use OTA update. Once you have WLED on the device you only need installer if partitions differ.
