DMX start address seems to work differently in ddp than artnet

I am running WLED 0.15.

On one master esp32 I set up under LED output to send Artnet RGB to broadcast address. Multiple esp32 listen to that artnet, each have their own DMX start address. That works like I want to have it.

When I want to use DDP though “DMX start address” doesn’t work like with Artnet.

I would like to use the more Addresses provided by DDP rather than Artnet 512.

Am I doing something wrong?
