I have lost Wi-Fi on two WLED Boards priced around $50 each and tried reaching out to the Company on numerous emails thru Amazon well Michele keeps telling me he trouble shoots these boards but never any help beyond that so I’m out of $100 with no help so I sent two boards back with no response so stay with the $5 esp 8266 they do the same thing and you can reflash WLED as many times as you want!Dont buy from Domestic Automation LLC
Yea. I have said it before way too much $ for an Esp8266 based controller. If you still have any of them you can likely reflash them with a usb to ttl adapter using the pin header on the board.
I also do not like soldered on controllers as it becomes an issue if something dies. If you are set on using something prebuilt I would look at:
