I’m experiencing issues with FW1906 LED strips and WS28xx. Some effects, including Scanner Dual, are no longer displayed correctly. They run very slowly and stutter.
With WS28xx, I simply use update 14.4, but FW1906 only works from version 15.0 onwards. The FPS are displayed correctly (40–50 FPS). I have tested different power supplies—the problem occurs with both ESP32 and ESP8266.
does it happen if you disconnect it from wifi?
The controller is permanently connected to Wi-Fi. It also shows 100% under info. However, I recently added it to the network. A reset didn’t help either
Some effects (actually most of them) have been changed recently and do display “correctly”. However that “correctly” does not mean they display as they did in the past.
The problem is that most effects are stuttering, as if they were only running at 5 FPS. And sometimes a red error message appears saying ‘Connection lost’. However, the FPS value under info looks fine.
That would indicate network issues.
But why only since update 15.0? The Wi-Fi signal strength is at 100%.
If you upgraded using OTA, I would try re-flashing them with usb connected to your pc. If you haven’t, I would also try rebooting your router.
I have the Athom Controller.. this haven’t a USB support. 
rebooting router doesn’t change the problem
Signal strength is not a useful indication of network problems.
