ESP32 limited to 2048 pixels controlled by Vixen Lights

Good evening everyone, I’m testing the ESP32 for my Christmas exhibition here in Brazil.

In the test carried out I use the WLED firmware version 0.14.0 using the Vixen Lights software, however the maximum pixel control I managed to achieve was 2048. Is there any way to control more pixels or is this the limit of the ESP32 using WLED.

Hello there,

Take a look here at
Multi Strip info to get more informations.

Or look here for DDP / Virtual LEDs with multiple ESP modules.

If questions come up, don’t mind asking!

Good evening TheLight3r! I made the settings and tests here but they don’t work above 2048 pixels. I used the DDP virtual LED scheme and had no success. Could you help me with this if possible of course.

I will attach images of the configurations made on the ESP32.

OBS: Remembering that I am configuring the pixels to be controlled by software via Streaming ACN E1.31

Could you explain more what exactly happens/ how the lights behave?

Let’s go!

What is happening is that I can only control 2048 pixels in the Vixen Lights software with the ESP32 using Wled via E1.31, even configuring 3000 pixels it only works 2048.

I don’t know if this is a limit of Wled itself because the ESP32 can handle much more than that to be controlled.

But with the UI of Wled it works??

With the Wled interface it works perfectly.

Hm, that is strange… Unfortunately that was my last thing.
