ESP8266EX Compatibility

Hello everyone, i have made 2 project until now, one lamp based on an esp8266 12f and another one based on a smaller esp8266 EX (esp wroom 02D). I uploaded the firmware normally with a flasher at first but OTA updating is only working on the 12f, on the esp wroom 02D is not working and ask me to check the bin. I suppose that model are not supported on the updatable list but they are working just fine
