Hello everyone, I’m having trouble configuring the HW-040 encoder to control the brightness. I’m using the WLED 0.15.1 ESP32 configuration, but I can’t find any information about this brightness control method. Can you please help me?
HW-040 is not potentiometer but rotary decoder. You have to use rotary encoder usermod to use it with WLED.

after installing the encoder mod, it doesn’t adjust the brightness, but switches modes and selects a palette and speed. However, it doesn’t allow me to adjust the brightness of my presets
As i said it’s not a potentiometer but rotary decoder. Look usermod for rotary decoder.
In the end, I put a potentiometer and the brightness is adjustable. I couldn’t use the encoder, so I played with libraries and mods.
