How do I set up a pyramidical matrix

Hello good people,

I am fairly new to wled and this is my first project. I am struggling with the setup of my led and could use some help with the gap file (I think…)

I have build a pyramid consisting of four triangles. Each side has 5 rows of led. First row (bottom) 5 led, 2nd has four led, 3rd three, fourth two and the final one has only one led. They are wired in a serpentine way. Also there is one led for the tip of the pyramid, but that could be ignored.

What I am trying to achieve is to have each side of the pyramid as a asymmetric matrix, if you will in order to make fx like a rotating beacon possible.

Is that possible, and if yes, how must my gap file look?

Take a look at LED mapping..
It lets you “rewire” the order of your strips on-the fly.
You can create multiple map files for different effects depending on what you’re trying to achieve.
You can also see a previous similar project:Triangle PCB for some ideas.
